This tutorial speaks in detail the instructions of installing apache and php on a linux system. You can download php from the given URL on the website. You have 3 options to install php which are php with Mysql, php without Mysql and only custom php from the download directory. You can setup apache which is used to include php module. To use php module you should reconfigure apache. This tutorial is useful for the beginners of php.
