Description
This tutorial gives the two formats for formatting date/time value. One is using PHP and the other is much better solution is to use MySQL embedded data/time functions. For this, the author gives some sample functions and examples. The author concludes that MySQL query function works faster and looks better and there are a lot of predifined characters that can be used as a template for date_format() MySQL function.
