Description
This is an article that explains how the numbers, dates, and formatted input can be prompted by using JFormattedTextField component. This article explains that even though JFormattedTextField component looks like JTextField, it acts completely different. The article explains this difference by giving few examples. The new Swing components like JSpinner and JFormattedTextField is available with version 1.4 of the J2SE (Java 2 Standard Edition).
