This article integrates programmatic functions from legacy transactions into a web application to show how web services and J2EE connectors can simplify and integrate heterogeneous enterprise information systems and enable business partners to share their applications' functionality on the web. This article use an online insurance broker application as an example of how to use J2EE connectors and Web services to integrate heterogeneous EIS.
