Description
This article describes the developments in the graphical and user interface and specifically discusses the developments in the Java 2 user interface. It discusses the various features of the version 1.3 and also discusses that the release 1.4 has to offer. The graphical and user interface have developed manifold in terms of its capabilities. The Java 2 platform is an architecture that supports sophisticated cross-platform user interface and consists of numerous high-level components, an advanced feature-rich device-independent graphics system, and lots of multimedia extensions.
