Description
This article provides the user a detailed introduction of the FMA (Federated Management Architecture), which is a standard extension to the Java 2 platform. It also explains how it creates the policy-based management application infrastructures. The article tells you about the two technologies such as the Jiro technology of Sun Microsystems and the WBEM (Web-Based Enterprise Management Initiative) of Distributed Management Task Force that creates the management applications for varied environments.
