Description of ThinSQL :
This connects to an SQL server over the Internet and can be used to add, remove, modify and retrieve data. Since it uses HTTP as its main method of communication, it is compatible with proxy servers and network firewalls. It requires that the database being accessed must be JDBC compatible and the web server in use must be servlet enabled. On the client side it requires Netscape Communicator 4.06 or later, or Internet Explorer 4.0 or later to operate.
