You, probably, have a situation, when you forget to switch a font on the keyboard and type your native characters by the English letters or on the contrary (English text by the letters of your native character set). It is good, if you find out a mistake at once, instead of through some sentences. All is insulting to erase and to type anew. Recoder is intended specially for such situations. You select the incorrectly typed fragment, press 'a hot key' and the text will be transformed to the necessary character set.
