Description of TicTpicE :
This is a Text Bitmap Class constructed from TGraphicControl and uses TStringList to hold the text, the text is then placed onto a bitmap image before it is drawn to the Canvas.The object of this Class is to place a text canvas on the form or in a container with ease, it uses the text editor to fill the StringList, the text is then placed on a bitmap image, the image can then be set within the canvas rectangle or you can set the Auto_Size and the canvas rectangle will adjust to the longest string length and the Height of the total string count.The text can be aligned left, center or right on the bitmap image. If there are any tabs in the text then they are not used when alignment is Center or Right set.A TAB, it defaults set to 8.The Canvas Background can be set to transparent aswell as set to a background color. If the transparency is set to true then the border is not shown. If the text is not set to Auto_Size then it can be Word Wrapped within the Canvas rectangle.A border can be placed around the Bitmap, the Border can be set to Lowered, None or Raised. The colours of the border can be set along with the border width in pixels.The Bitmap Background can be set to transparent, or background colour or set to blend between two colours vertically or horizontally.Please note that to get the ampersand char you have to && it, otherwise you get an underscore.
