Description
re Recognition AG recently released Kadmos 4.0, an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) engine that provides machine and handprint recognition for desktop, handheld and server applications. In version 4, Kadmos utilizes a new feature extraction method, which provides a higher quality of recognition, support for the Cyrillic alphabet and for Arabic-Indian numbers, as well as a special 'fast' classifier set for embedded or time-critical applications. Kadmos 4.0 is available for Windows, Windows CE, Linux and AIX operating systems. APIs (Application Programming Interface) are provided for C, C++, Visual Basic and Borland Delphi environments. Developer's toolkits start at 825 EUR ea. and runtime licenses are 554 EUR ea. Volume discounts and upgrade pricing are available.
