Description of UBACKPro :
Ubackpro is a complete backup system in one single VCL component for any Delphi application. UBACKPro provides a long list of features, the most important are listed here:Comes with full source code. You can extend this source code for your own application as much as you wish. Full source code means the complete source code for the component, the tape driver and the demo. It is written entirely in Object Pascal and compiles with D4 / D5 / D6 / D7.Provides a strong and reliable backup system for your DELPHI application. There is no need to let the application or the user call external programs. UBACKPro is contained in a single VCL control, no additional DLLs needed (which are not already part of your operating system). UBACKPro gets linked into your application by DELPHI, there are usually no installation needs.Backups any data from local harddrives to a variety of devices including floppy disks, harddisks, remote disks, removeable disks, ZIP - Drives, JAZ drives, MO-Drives and with additional software even to CD-R and FTP-Servers.Backs up to SCSI tape devices connected to the SCSI-Hostadapter.Supports a compression scheme to compress the data to be backed up.Includes a strong encryption scheme (Blowfish) which keeps the data secure- the length of the key ranges from 32 - 448 Bits. Although Blowfish is free of charge x96 please note that certain export restrictions might apply to software which includes Blowfish.Comes with a ready to use backup demo application, written in DELPHI with its full source included. Starting from this point you could easily have your own backup application.Supports many different modes of operation to select files for backup / restore, as full backup, incremental or differential backup, full restore, partial restore, restore only older or non existent files and many more.
