Description
DBISAM ADO.Net Provider is a data provider designed to communicate with DBISAM Database Server by Elevate Software from an application or ASP.Net page written for the Microsoft .NET Framework. It is based on ActiveX Data Objects for the .NET Framework (ADO.NET) technology.DBISAM ADO.Net Provider is completely programmed in C# for .Net, is fully managable and does not require any unmanagable dlls. ADO.Net Provider uses TCP/IP protocol to comminicate with DBISAM Server.New: Full support for MS .Net 2.0 and ADO.Net 2.0New: Full (design- and run-time) support for MS Visual Studio.Net 2005Full support for MS .Net Compact Framework.SQL scripts execution.Written in C# and is 100% managed code.Does NOT require any unmanaged libraries, dlls or other 3rd party client libraries.Uses DBISAM protocol to access DBISAM Server via TCP/IP.Supports both DBISAM v3 and v4 servers with the same set of components (specify Engine Version parameter in a connection string).Provides highest performance.Extremily small footprint (only about 50 KB).Easy to deploy (no dlls are necessary).Supports all DBISAM data types.Includes convinient design-time tools, accessible from all types of IDEs (VS.Net, C#Builder & Delphi 8, 2005).Allows to test connection, configure data adapters and datasets and preview real data at design-time from any IDE.
