Description
If you publish articles on the Internet, you might want to capture user feedback to get an indication of the article's usefulness to your target user community. You'll need to control for bias to prevent multiple ratings from the same person, and you'll probably want to provide users with visual feedback on the overall rating of the article. / In this walkthrough, you'll learn how to develop and implement a basic content rating system in ASP.NET and SQL Server, using Visual Basic .NET as our programming language. You'll first learn how to setup the database table that you'll use to capture user ratings. Next, you'll learn how to build the graphical user interface components that display the article ratings. Lastly, you'll learn how to build the necessary logic, line by line.
