Description
Using the SQLIOStress Utility to Stress a Disk Subsystem is an useful article which expalins you about how to do stress checks on the disk subsystems to simulate the read, write, checkpoint, backup and sort activities of the Sql Server database using the SQLIOStress Utility. SQLIOStress Utility contains 150 validation and verification tests and it runs under WOW64 environment. This article shows some of the test activities with explanation as well as it shows a sample output of the SQLIOStress Utility to the users.
