In this online tutorial, users can find more information about URLs and its usage. The author elaborates about dirty URLs in this article by distiguishing between the advantages and disadvantages in using those URLs. This tutorial describes that dirty URLs are portable in nature, omitting the unwanted reuse, not exposing technology through directory, omitting punctuation in file name etc., at the same time those are incapable of promoting usage, difficult to type, a security risk and minimizing maintainability and abstraction.
